The department of Art and Design seeks a candidate to teach 100-level course, Foundations: Color, Composition, and Ideation.
This adjunct faculty member will develop lectures, demonstrations and assignments, deliver course content and assess student work in the area of two-dimensional design for majors and non-majors in 100-level course.
Must be a practicing visual artist with exceptional expertise.
Candidate must be committed to the liberal arts educational mission and evangelical Christian orientation of the University and demonstrate commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching, mentoring students, and maintaining an active program of scholarship. Candidate must demonstrate the ability to contribute to Bethel's anti-racism efforts and cross-cultural understanding.
University level teaching experience is preferred, but not required. Experience using an online platform (such as Moodle) is preferred but not required.
M.A. or M.F.A. required; terminal degree preferred.
Salary and rank commensurate with qualifications and experience.
