  • Job Summary

    This faculty position is full-time in the Graduate School assisting in providing leadership for the Physician Assistant program and participating in teaching in areas of expertise and service within the department.


    • Collaborating with the Program Director, Medical Director, administrative assistant, and physician offices
    • Collaborating with the Program Director in the delivery of the Master of Science in Physician Assistant (MSPA)
    • Providing curriculum and instructional leadership within the MSPA program
    • Areas of focus will be family medicine, primary care procedures, and internal medicine
    • Teaching a limited number of graduate courses as assigned
    • Assisting in the didactic training and on-going support for Bethel University PA guest lecturers
    • Serving as a subject matter specialist for the MSPA program, providing support and encouragement for program faculty
    • Assisting in didactic classroom, small group, laboratory teaching, as well as additional responsibilities such as student research, scholarly activity, and service within the program, college, and university
    • Serving as an advisor to cohorts as assigned
    • Travel may be required

    The candidate must have at least 3 years of clinical experience, and the ideal candidate will have experience in teaching, preferably in graduate education.


    The candidate must hold a master's degree (doctorate preferred), and must also be a board certified physician assistant and hold a current Minnesota PA license or be eligible for PA licensure in Minnesota.




    Additional Information

    This position is available August 2018 and applications will be accepted until the position is filled. Salary and rank are commensurate with qualifications and experience.
