This adjunct faculty member may include developing lectures, demonstrations, and assignments, delivering course content, assessing student work, and supervising laboratory experiences in first- and second-year chemistry courses. Possible courses are Introduction to Chemistry, General Chemistry I and II, and Organic Chemistry.
Candidate must have professional-level proficiency in chemistry laboratory procedures.
Candidate must be committed to the liberal arts educational mission and evangelical Christian orientation of the University and demonstrate commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching, mentoring students, and maintaining an active program of scholarship. Candidate must demonstrate the ability to contribute to Bethel's anti-racism efforts and cross-cultural understanding.
Candidate must have at least 1 year of professional experience in the classroom or laboratory.
Master's degree or equivalent graduate-level education in the discipline.
Salary and rank commensurate with level of education and professional experience.
