Job Summary

Teach courses in anatomy, physiology, microbiology, environmental sciences and introductory biology curriculum. At Bethel, we offer classes that are 1, 2 or 4 credits. Adjunct load will vary based on capabilities of the Adjunct Professor and needs of the department. We pay $1,250 per credit hour for in person courses. 

Responsibilities

Teach courses in the introductory biology curriculum, microbiology, anatomy, physiology or environmental science appropriate to the candidate's qualifications.

Skills

Primary interest and ability in teaching undergraduate students; Candidate must be committed to the liberal arts educational mission and evangelical Christian orientation of the University and demonstrate commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching, mentoring students, and scholarship. Candidate must demonstrate the ability to contribute to Bethel’s anti-racism efforts and cross-cultural understanding.

Experience

A record of successful college teaching is preferred.

Education

Ph.D. preferred with an emphasis in anatomy, physiology, environmental science or microbiology.

Additional Information

Compensation:

We pay $1,250 per credit hour for in person courses.
