Job Summary

Teach (in person) introductory Computer Science courses or specialized upper level Computer Science courses, such as Computer Architecture and Operating Systems

Responsibilities

Prepare course materials, coordinate with department faculty as needed, conduct and oversee all class activities, administer assessments, provide feedback to students, and submit final course grades to the University Registrar.

 

Skills

Clear and well-organized oral and written communication of Computer Science concepts. Supportive mentoring of undergraduate students.

 

Experience

Preference given for teaching at the undergraduate level within an institution of higher education.  Relevant industry experience for specialized upper level courses.

Education

A Master's degree or Doctorate in a computing-related area strongly preferred; a Master's degree in a different field with at least 18 credits of graduate-level work in computer science will also be considered.
