Job Summary
Adjunct instructor teaching for nursing clinical in one or more specialty settings for the BSN nursing program in the College of Arts and Sciences. Clinical teaching opportunities in maternal/child and pediatrics are available for Fall 2025. At Bethel, we offer classes that are 1, 2 or 4 credits. Adjunct load will vary based on capabilities of the Adjunct Professor and needs of the department. We pay $1,000 per credit hour for online courses and $1,250 per credit hour for in person or hybrid courses.
Responsibilities
● Teaching in clinical settings, specifically maternal/child, pediatrics, and/ or other specialty settings as qualified.
● Evaluation of students in clinical settings, including assignment grading.
● Collaborate with a teaching team within the course.

Experience
● A minimum of 5 years clinical experience in primary specialty is necessary; clinical experience in an additional nursing specialty is welcome.
● Previous experience as a nurse educator in an academic setting or as a preceptor of students or new nursing employees would be an asset.
Education
A bachelor’s degree in nursing is required; master’s degree is preferred. A clinical focus with practice in adult medical/surgical and/or psych/mental health settings is necessary. Current Minnesota RN licensure or eligibility required.
