Job Summary
Bethel University invites applications for a full-time one-year Assistant Professor faculty position in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, with a possibility of renewal. This position is face to face only.
Responsibilities
● Teach the equivalent of a full six-course load in the field of Computer Science, likely including some combination of the following: Programming Languages, Operating Systems, Computer Architecture, High-Performance Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining and Machine Learning, Database Systems, Data Structures, and introductory-level programming for majors and non-majors
● Fulfill regular faculty responsibilities, including involvement in departmental activities
Skills
● Strong teaching skills
● Ability to collaborate with colleagues and work as part of a team
Experience
College teaching experience preferred
Education
Master’s or PhD in Computer Science or related field required
